Welcome To day one! I’m starting something new and fun! I used to do this with my ebay blog years ago. It’s my 30 Day Challenge Series. It’s a lot of fun to try and beat myself each week. I’ll share some of the things I’ll be tackling.
Starting now and for the next 30 days, I’ll be doing a 30 day Challenge on Traffic Strategies That Work. Sharing with you all the tips I’m doing to get traffic to this new blog. I hope you can join in with me on this journey. Once a new blog gets started your next thing to work on is getting traffic to it, or it won’t be very profitable. Right?!
It’s important to get traffic from several places and starting a good foundation is important as well. There are a few things to tackle and I’m not good at some of them so it will be a learning session for me and my readers as well.
Strap on your seat belt!
It’s about to get crazy! 😉
All kidding aside. I love doing these challenges. It keeps me on my toes and makes it more fun to do some of the not so fun things you have to do to get started. It’s like that with any new job. You have to get the feel of what you need to do each day. Your the new employee, but the good news is that your the boss too. Not saying that you can now relax all day and let the elves do all your real work while your sleeping.
Your The Boss Now
It doesn’t work like that. Your the boss and you expect your new employees to do the very best work they can do for your new business and if that doesn’t happen…well then, they will get fired! Keep that in mind when starting your online business. It will take some long hours to get your blog up and running. But once you do, it will come easier and easier once you have a solid foundation in place.
That’s what we are working on now. Making a solid foundation to get traffic coming to your blog even when you aren’t working on it. You want traffic so that you will make sales from the things you promote and your own products you make if you have them in place.
With all my businesses I like to challenge myself. I’m a little bit competitive and I like to beat my own goals that I set for each thing I tackle and what better way to do that is to blog about it. Kinda makes me feel like I have to check in each day and be accountable. Let’s look at some of the things I’ll be doing this month with this challenge.
Well the first thing I need to do is create a outline of this project. I just received this tip from my mentor. She said that long ago when she first started working online a pro told her to make an outline of everything she did. She told me that she fought it for the longest time. But when she embraced it. She started making the big bucks.
I want that too! How about you?
